Parliament Honours Grandmaster Hassan Iskander OAM

The Hon. Sophie Cotsis (ALP) and Member of Canterbury and Minister for Industrial Relations and Work Health and Safety proudly included in her statement in Parliament on Thursday 13th February 2025 wonderful words of recognition to one of our own Taekwondo community leaders, Grandmaster Hassan Iskander OAM in her Private Members Statement.

A wonderful gesture of recognition to one of our very own Kukkiwon 8th Dan Grandmasters who has achieved so much for Taekwondo for us not only here in our home state of New South Wales but also nationally and internationally.

Having our government recognise Grandmaster Hassan’s achievements at the highest level serves as an excellent spotlight for our rich Martial Art and sport of Taekwondo that has provided for so many and continues to do so by positively influencing the next generation in every aspect of their lives.
