About us

Australian Taekwondo NSW is the official governing body for Olympic-style Taekwondo in New South Wales, proudly affiliated with Australian Taekwondo, the national body.

As the state authority, we are responsible for overseeing the growth, development, and regulation of Taekwondo across NSW. We support a wide network of affiliated clubs, coaches, referees, and athletes, ensuring the sport is delivered safely, fairly, and with integrity at all levels — from grassroots participation to elite competition.

Our work includes sanctioning and managing state events and championships, developing athlete pathways, and providing education and accreditation for coaches and officials. We are committed to upholding the values of discipline, respect, excellence, and inclusion, while fostering a connected and vibrant Taekwondo community throughout the state.

Through our alignment with Australian Taekwondo, we help shape the future of the sport both locally and nationally.
