  • Most clubs offer programs for children as young as 5, as well as classes for teens and adults. Please check with individual clubs for specific age brackets and class offerings.

  • No. Many students train for fitness, self-defence, or personal development. Competition is optional but encouraged for those interested.

  • Events are listed on our Events Calendar. Each event page includes entry forms, eligibility criteria, and registration deadlines.

  • Yes, all competitors must be current members of Taekwondo NSW and affiliated with an approved club.

  • We host sparring (Kyorugi) and Poomsae (forms) tournaments, grading events, and seminars for athletes, coaches, and referees.

  • We offer instructor accreditation, club development resources, insurance coverage, and inclusion in state programs and competitions.

  • We conduct regular courses in line with national accreditation pathways. Check our Education & Training page for upcoming dates.

  • Membership is managed via the Australian Taekwondo portal. Ensure you select your NSW-based club when registering.

  • Fees vary depending on your club and membership type. Please contact your club directly for pricing.

  • Yes. All registered members are covered under Australian Taekwondo’s insurance program. Coverage includes training, competitions, and sanctioned events.
