NSW State Championships and National Selections
GENERAL INFORMATION
We are pleased to extend our invitation to you and your club to participate in the prestigious NSW State Championships & National Selections Event, which will take place at the Dunc Gray Velodrome, Bass Hill.
As the affiliated member association of the National Sporting Organisation, Australian Taekwondo; the ATNSW Board is dedicated to providing a pathway for athletes to achieve State, National, International, and Olympic Selection. With that in mind, we are committed to hosting an enjoyable, competitive, and well-organized event that caters to the needs of all participants and supporters.
As the governing body representing our State, our primary objectives are to develop and promote Taekwondo, maintain and elevate standards, ensure an environment of integrity and safety, promote Health & Safety, and oversee all levels of Taekwondo in New South Wales.
We kindly remind all participating clubs that membership with Australian Taekwondo is mandatory. Additionally, coaches must possess National Coaching Accreditation, and players are required to be registered with Australian Taekwondo and hold National Athlete Licence (NAL).
Please note that the KPNP electronic scoring system will be utilised for all Sparring divisions. It is compulsory for competitors to provide their own e-socks, as e-Socks are necessary for participation. We kindly request that you make the necessary arrangements prior to the day of the competition. All Cadet Red/Black Belt sparring athletes must wear head guards with face shields (these will be provided).
